This term at film school we had one sole project : make a music video. After many weeks of delay, we found a good crew and shot this sucker. The song is by one of those softer metal bands called Before the Dawn and the song itself is "My Room" which comes off their second (technically third) album 4.17 A.M..

I was on vocals backed by the Black Knight with a guitar, Rico with a bass guitar and Saad on the drums. It was in the process of being edited and I exported it to the hard drive. Big surprise, when I get it home, AVid just has to screw up and some footage was redundant for some reason. So right now, it's in the dark room being put back together. It's already half recovered. I will likely be done by Sunday, it takes a lot of time (and I do mean a lot) to sync the picture to the song.

Well we finally did it (sort of) we shot a continuation to the sword fight in coverage. There is still more to shoot though, but this was the first step. As you can see from the cast, we had a grip stand to do the job of holding the microphone in the air because the group which we work in always dissipates and is not serious. We build the whole set up, and John was there to help us power up the lights. We only did coverage and one O.T.S. shot, I think we always do with what we have (which isn't much) and find new ways to do stuff.

During most of January the Lone Wolf and the Black Knight united to shoot a short sequence of shots about a guy chasing himself around the Toronto film school. We started editing it and it's in post-production right now, we also shot some test shots for editing testing purposes.

We were also given the task to write a comprehensive report about our final term project, even details including the budget and shooting permissions. This is a nut-cracker, good thing I thought about details as I was writing the script.

We won't get to shoot anything for the next three weeks or so. SO PATHETIC!!! The teacher is a fucking joker who tries to impose his view on us. Nah, those people just suck really, anyway, this week instead of movies, I have found a place where I can host my MP3 Remixes, it is not my own material, so therefore it is copyrighted to the original artists.

Also what I'm gonna start doing is that every new post will have EVERY archive of previous times, so you don't have to scroll down or find it in the archives.
